This site was built entirely using open source technologies. A traditional elearning system along with custom extensions can be seamlessly integrated with a site like this one. In other words, we could add a login/password field on this page and on login take you directly to a learning portal where you could take courses, participate in discussion groups, purchase courses online, download course completion certificates etc. Likewise site administrators can login using the same interface and add, delete, and update courses, moderate discussion groups, access CRM tools, analyze traffic data to the site, generate reports, manage learners etc. Each of these features and functions can be put together from open source technologies, custom development and integration of existing components.
